Healthy Eating

Never skip breakfast. It isn't healthy. Your body will run on low energy and you will be unable to give of your best through the day. Supply your body with adequate energy at the beginning of the day. It will make a positive difference to how you feel. Buy a lot of fruits, vegetables and juices and stock your refrigerator with them. If you feel snacky, munch on a carrot. Or settle for the salad bowl. Fruits make healthy snacks too. Try to avoid food that needs to be eaten with butter or margarine. Substitute these with low fat dairy products like curd or sour cream. Ensure your intake of adequate milk. It s important for your bones, teeth and energy levels too. Osteoporosis can be prevented. But it can t be cured. Use lime juice instead of the conventional salad dressing. Mayonnaise isn't too healthy. If you are a meat eater, stick to lean meat. White meat as in chicken and fish is healthier. Make sure the fat is trimmed of the chops.Freeze your fruits and have them as desserts. They taste good and are very healthy too Cut down the size of your portions. And have a lesser number of helpings. There is no need to eat till you are stuffed.Avoid fast food. They re usually packed with calories and fat. Think lean, Drink a lot of fluids. Soups, juices, and water. They are all very good for you.

Benefits Of Pranayama

There are 1,82,0000 nadis (energy channels) in our body. When we breath, these are activated and that is why we are alive. When we breath through the left nostril, certain nadis function and when we breath through  the right nostril, certain other nadis function. So, when we alternate the breath through the nostrils, certain changes happen in the body and in our system. Our system gets purified. Fresh energy moves in system and the stress is eliminated. The lest nostril activates the functioning of the right brain and vice versa. So, when we alternate our breathing, all the brain waves get synchronised. Biochemical changes take places in the body. The endocrine glands function better and any imbalance in the body is smoothened out. There are innumerable benefits of pranayama.

Basics of Meditation

How meditation works?

When you meditate, the mind becomes calm, tranquillity spreads through the body, healing and rejuvenating at the deepest level of being. It is thus a trump card to good health, tranquillity and inner harmony.

The best time to meditate is early morning or at night. But you can practise it while commuting to work, during a spare moment at the office or any other time. Make a 'sankalpa' - a resolution - to do it daily, ideally at the same time and same place. Try it for a month and see the difference. Once you get into the habit and start enjoying this private time to yourself, it will soon become your most treasured hour of the day.

The ABCD of meditation

Meditation works wonders, renews your spirit, vitalises your body, sharpens your mind, opens your heart and expands your consciousness. It acts as a buffer against stress and emotional problems.

•Stage A: Body awareness

Spend a few moments in becoming aware of your body and your posture. Run your awareness systematically through the various parts of your body. Become aware of any aches, pains or tension and work mentally towards releasing the tensions and relaxing each part of the body.

Sit in any comfortable meditative posture - 'sukhasana', 'vajrasana', 'padmasana', or lie down flat on your back in 'shavasana'. Close your eyes. Relax.

Become aware of your body and your posture. Make sure your head, neck and spine are in a straight line. Become aware of any sensations in the body. Move your awareness through one complete body rotation. Then try to maintain a uniform homogenous awareness of the whole body.

Become aware of the stillness of the body. Intensify that awareness. Although your thoughts may stray, maintain awareness of the physical body.

Once again, move your awareness to the different parts of the body. Try to feel every inch of your body as intensely as you can.

Once again, be aware of your whole body.

Breath awareness

Stage B

Become aware of your natural breathing. Imagine you're breathing in and out from your heart. Count every inhalation and exhalation from 50 to 0. Inhale 50, exhale 50; inhale 49, exhale 49, and so on. If you lose count, start again. If you are short of time, practise for 10 to 20 counts.

Antar mouna

Stage C: 'Antar mouna'

The first two stages are meant for preparing the body and mind for meditation. Now, you can practise this simple version of antar mouna which means 'inner silence'.

Mentally prepare yourself by saying, " I am ready to practise 'antar mouna'. Next, become acutely aware of your external environment - all external sounds near and far. Become aware of all sensations of heat, cold, comfort and discomfort. Heighten the awareness of all your senses - touch, taste, smell and sound.

Become aware of all your thoughts. Accept whatever comes. Do not oppose or suppress any thoughts. Just remain an uninvolved, silent and alert witness. Whatever your thoughts might be, look at them indifferently, with detachment, as a witness. Do not lose yourself in any experience but maintain constant awareness "I am only the seer or the witness."

Choose a thought of your own free will. Reflect on it for some time and then let go. Choose another thought, stay with it for a while and let go of it. Repeat this process a couple of times. Then once again, simply watch your spontaneous thoughts. Try and calm the mind for a while and sit in thoughtless awareness.

Coming out of meditation

Stage D

Shift your awareness back to your breathing and the physical body. Move to the external environment and the surrounding sounds. Once your awareness is externalised, gently open your eyes.

Why India is still developing country

Why India is still has developing country, This question should arise in every individual Indian, Because we are the reason for it. We all forget ourselves and looking at the outside world.

You know we Indians has a great knowledge, Our ancestors are the persons who found everything good and bad in the universe, but they forgot to say to us, we also refused to listen to them.

The main reason for our current status is we “Only We”, we forgot everything, our knowledge, our abilities and our land, but we started to learn from others like “Lion learning to hut from Dog”, sure this is the thing we are doing.

You know their ancestors learned everything only from our ancestors but we…

As a Tamilian

Tamil is a oldest and golden language, English is too young to it, but English is now a global language, How because of we Indian, we are always kind hearted we praise others ability and follow them but always forget our abilities.

But they (foreigners) are always pride of their abilities, Talent, language and their land.

In one way we Indians are greatest human being because we help others to grow and shine. (What about us?)

Please India, think about us learn our India and make our India pride…

[Here in this article I mentioned everything and others many times, it means
Everything – Our abilities, our talents, our science, our land and our language.
Others - Foreigners]

Your Personality Makes Every Thing

Personality matters a lot and is the key to success. Your first impression can set you apart from the crowd if you have a groomed personality. Many of you find difficult to look attractive and impress people but don't lose hope as you can groom your personality through some easy ways. Some people have a natural attraction in their personality while those who don't have can learn it. It's a natural belief that the good personality is god gifted, but it can be groomed anytime if you make some efforts. Some valuable personality grooming tips that could enhance your charisma are:

Dress well: The first step to impress everyone around you is a good clothing sense. It's not essential that only expensive or branded clothes can make you look great, in fact, a well-fitted dress that is elegant and suits you may add attraction. You can select dresses that suit your figure well and hide your imperfections. Buy good quality and comfortable stuff.

Smile: Smile can go miles. Don't make your smile a rare phenomenon, take it out of the box and smile whenever you meet with someone. Your smile spread positivity and make another person feel comfortable. So smile whenever you find a chance.

Meet new people: Meet new people as you'll be benefited by meeting just on a person even if you don't meet them again.

Don't be over familiar with anybody: Don't become too frank with whom you have met recently. The people around you may develop a negative impression about your personality. Behave decently and keep some space as decent people are always admired.

Help others: Helping others add attraction to your personality. Those who are willing to help others are looked upon. People like spending time with them, and they are always appreciated for their caring and helping attitude.

Don't share your weaknesses with anyone: It's not good sharing your weakness with everyone as you never know when it could be used against you. Show your strong side to others. However, acting perfect should be avoided.

Don't gossip or lie: Lying and gossiping are two traits that show a negative side of your personality so avoid this attitude. Don't lie just to impress someone as when this illusion breaks, it could take you to tough situations.

Responsible attitude: A responsible behavior is liked by all so do your tasks on time and get acknowledged by all.
